ECO 430 - Managerial Economics(4 credits) Success in business depends on the positioning of the firm and the management of its resources. Through the lens of economics, students will learn to think systematically and strategically about critical management issues concerning consumer demand, costs, pricing, market competition, and organizational incentives. This course is an advanced economics course focusing on economic reasoning and decision-making in everyday life of a manager or an entrepreneur. Emphasis will be placed on case studies and quantitative data analysis.
Prerequisites: ECO213 and MAT116QR or MAT117QR.
