BUS 440 - World Poverty and Development(4 credits) This foundational overview course considers the complexities of the environment of poverty. Informed by serious academic study of socio-economic, cultural, political, and religious contexts, it also provides a practical understanding of the roots of world poverty and presents alternative views of how to create wealth. A broad comprehension of world poverty and development is fundamental for promoting transformational development projects.
