TSL 225 - Linguistics and Second Language Acquisition(3 credits)
This course is an overview of linguistics and the second language acquisition process. The course includes topics such as general linguistics, language theory, principles of language acquisition, bilingualism, and first language acquisition. Special attention is given to the factors that contribute into the language acquisition such as: age, schooling, social factors, first language acquisition and second language acquisition.
