MUS 308 - Teaching Secondary Choral Music

(4 credits; alternate years, consult department)

This course deals primarily with philosophy, techniques, literature and materials used in teaching secondary vocal music. Areas of study will fall into four main categories; literature selection (planning and preparation), instruction (pedagogy), classroom environment, and professional responsibilities.

Prerequisite: MUS112.
